Our Cavelletti training on the lunge is a wonderful way of building confidence, co-ordination, bascule, strength and symmetry in your horses.

We incorporate it into our lunging stage of training after the horses have started to develop some natural balance both longitudinally, laterally and diagonally.

Part of the Step 2 of our training program, **Lunge Training with Cavalletti**, offers significant benefits by incorporating structured exercises that enhance the horse's flexibility, strength, and coordination.

The use of cavalletti, or raised poles, in lunge work challenges the horse to engage its body in a more dynamic way, encouraging proper use of the hindquarters, lifting of the front legs, and fluidity in movement.

These exercises promote better rhythm and cadence, helping the horse develop a more natural, balanced gait.
Cavalletti work also improves the horse's ability to adjust its stride, enhancing suppleness and encouraging correct muscle engagement, which contributes to the overall development of the horse’s topline.

Additionally, the rhythmic nature of cavalletti training helps improve the horse's proprioception, or awareness of its own body in space, which is essential for future work under saddle.
